Internship opportunities

Are you looking for an adventure? Google now offers internship opportunities throughout the year. At present, we have opportunities for students pursuing all kinds of degrees, from Computer Science to Business, from Humanities to Mathematics, from Languages to Journalism, and pretty much everything in between. Many such opportunities exist within our Engineering and Business & General Management groups.

Internship Programs

Google Internships are full-time positions. Start and end dates are flexible with regard to academic schedules, but you'll be expected to commit to at least three months of work. We want to make sure we provide you a valuable learning expeirence and a deeper understanding of Google's work environment, culture, and delicious food.

Mentoring and Training

All interns receive ongoing mentorship and training throughout their time at Google. You will be assigned an intern “host” who will inspire you, oversee your work, help you identify project goals, and help you develop as a professional. You will also attend various trainings specific to your group which will teach you all things Google.

Tech Talks and Company Meetings

Working with your host and other members of your group will enable you to learn about the specific work done by your team, but the learning does not stop there. All interns can attend weekly talks given by various Googlers, leaning about different products and groups across the company. All interns are also given the opportunity to attend weekly company meetings led by our founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. You get the latest news from the leaders of the company, and if you have a question, there's always time for Q&A.

Salary and Relocation Assistance

We offer all interns a competitive salary and relocation assistance. We want to make sure your move to Google is a pleasant experience, so we'll give you recommendations on the best places to stay during your internship, and also give you an overview of the surrounding areas.

Intern Social Events

Google's intern team also organizes specific events exclusively for interns. Past events have included a baseball game, hockey game, a night out at the theater, a bay cruise, bowling, rock-climbing, ice cream socials, and much more.
